I f an oil seal does not sit properly, it will not seal properly and significantly increase wear. This results in premature defects and even leakage.Using the Stage6 assembly toolGrease the inside and outside of the oil seal with assembly grease, then place it on the tip and press it into the engine as far as it will go using manual force. Skilled users may be able to fit the oil seal without having to dismantle the housing.Before inserting the oil seal, check the housing for sharp burrs and dirt, rework and clean if necessary (especially used / older engines).Avoid excessive force or the use of other pressing tools!If the seal has been damaged due to incorrect installation, it must be replaced with a new one.
