Almost every aspect of this crankshaft is high-end: robust full-circle design, ultra-precise balancing, copper-plated connecting rod, premium surface finish, high-quality workmanship, and first-rate material quality.Due to the higher pre-compression, cylinder filling is improved, and the powerband shifts into the higher rpm range. The crankshaft is suitable for engine speeds up to 16,000 rpm.This is a long-stroke crankshaft with a 90 mm connecting rod and 44 mm stroke (instead of 80 mm / 39 mm), and must therefore be used together with a matching Big Bore cylinder. As a reminder: using a long-stroke crankshaft increases displacement and also helps to restore the bore-to-stroke ratio when a larger bore has shifted it out of balance.Installation Malossi MHR Racing Crankshaft44 mm stroke, 90 mm rod, 13 mm piston pin – this is clearly not a plug & play crankshaft.The crankshaft is intended for use with Malossi Big Bore cylinders 86cc or 94cc. Installation requires a 5 mm cylinder base spacer.The crankshaft should be used with a suitable Multivar CVT (M5112800, M5118678 or M5115823).
