The Polini Hi Speed Evolution 2 for Minarelli is an oversize model and should be used with a matching oversize fixed pulley, oversize rear pulley and oversize V-belt.The Hi Speed variators are ideal for highly tuned racing engines.Performance Polini Hi-Speed EVO 2The EVO 2 is the upgraded version of the already very powerful Hi Speed variator. Polini applied its extensive experience and technical know-how to achieve a noticeable power increase compared to the stock variator. It provides stable power transfer and improved acceleration throughout the entire RPM range. The engine revs more aggressively and achieves a higher top speed.The EVO 2 uses DLC (Diamond Light Carbon) bushings that are lightweight, low-friction, and extremely durable. Two high-quality seals ensure consistent lubrication. The cores of the variator rollers have polished sliding surfaces, while the sleeves are coated with heat- and wear-resistant Nylon/Aramid. The included spring with anti-torsion spring seat has +8% tension, making it slightly stiffer than the stock spring.Advantages of oversize CVTOversize CVT systems extend the entire transmission range and can handle much more power than standard CVTs, which primarily pays off in the upper speed range. They are therefore primarily intended for powerful engines with a lot of power at high RPM.
