Notes and Safety Fuel tapDepending on the type of vehicle, there are different types of fuel taps:Vacuum fuel tap: when the engine is running, a vacuum raises a valve through which gasoline flows. This valve closes as soon as the engine stops running.Fuel cock with lever: Turn the lever with normally three positions (On / Off / Reserve).Fuel cock with knurled wheel: Loosen the knurled wheel to let the fuel through.Quick lock coupler: In this case, both parts must be unclipped to cut off the fuel supply.Please note that some fuel taps are equipped with a filter.
