Description Digital speed / rev limiter with brake lever code and automatic reactivationMain function:The digital speed limiter (DZB) has a powerful microprocessor that continuously calculates and evaluates speed and rpm.The speed is determined by the wheel sensor supplied in conjunction with a small self-adhesive magnet for the rim.The RPM is calculated directly via the pickup cable of the CDI ignition with each piston revolution.Operating modes:KMH mode:In KMH mode, an upper speed limit is set.The limiter throttles the scooter by reducing the speed as soon as this limit is reached.A variably adjustable pre-stage enables a gradual reduction in speed shortly before the maximum speed for a smooth transition.Below the set maximum speed, the speed remains unchanged.RPM mode:The wheel sensor is not required in speed mode.The RPM limiter only throttles the scooter via the adjustable maximum RPM.If the speed falls below the set limit, the limiter does not intervene to prevent a loss of power in the lower speed range.Combi mode:The RPM limiter works simultaneously with the set speed and KMH limit.Particularly useful when a high revving scooter is to be set to a low top speed.Programming and control:Programming the top speed/maximum speed is done simply by pressing the internal button.Deactivation:To deactivate the throttle, a 6-digit Morse code is entered using the brake lever.To reactivate, simply switch the ignition off and on again briefly.Dimensions and installation:The housing is compact (45x45x18mm + mounting eyelet).The connection cables are 45-50cm long.The wheel sensor has dimensions of approx. 28x19mm, with a cable length of approx. 50cm.Installation is simple with 4 quick cable connectors.Installation requires the connection of +12V (switched via the ignition lock), brake signal, pickup signal and ground/minus.In KMH mode, the wheel sensor and the wheel magnet must also be attached to the front or rear wheel.Advantages at a glance:Digital control of speed and rpmStepless programmingAdjustable pre-stages for smooth transitionNo power reduction below the maximum speed in KMH modeNo power reduction in the lower speed range in RPM modeAutomatic activation of the limitationDeactivation via brake lever codeIndividually adjustable brake lever codeQuick cable connector for easy installationBest workmanship for increased durabilityScope of delivery and compatibility:The scope of delivery includes the limiter, 4 quick connectors, wheel sensor with self-adhesive wheel magnet and detailed step-by-step installation instructions.The module works with almost all 2T carburetor engines, such as Minarelli replicas (1E40QMB) like CPI and Keeway. However, it is not compatible with 4-stroke engines, direct injection engines, Morini engines and engines with double pick-up (e.g. Aprilia SR50 with brown and white cables on the CDI).
