This makes packing the silencer much easier.Tips for packing a muffler- packing not dense enough: the exhaust sounds quiet at first, but after a short time the packing material shifts and an empty spaces are is formed; the silencer becomes loud again and the packing material wears out very quickly.- packing too dense: longer service life of the wool, but insufficient noise reduction; the exhaust may even be louder than without the wool.Don't pack the wool too tight. When the muffler is full, you should still be able to push the material 2 - 3 cm in, there should be enough "play" inside the silencer.
